Charter Investor Day to Be Available by Webcast

ST. LOUIS, Sep 3, 2002 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Charter Communications, Inc. (Nasdaq:CHTR) will broadcast live via the Internet the audio portion and presentation materials of its first-ever Charter Investor Day meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 4.

The all-day meeting, which begins at 10 a.m. Eastern, will update the investment community on the company's strategic outlook and feature remarks from key Charter executives.

The meeting will highlight Charter's continued focus on the implementation and execution of its business plan and its goal of reaching free cash flow in 2004. Charter executives also will address the near-completion of the company's massive upgrade program and what it means for the rollout of new services. In addition, there will be discussion of Charter's strategy of deploying success-based capital to deliver digital video and data products.
